Despite being a patriarchal society, Viet Nam still reserves a special, if not sacred, place to honour Vietnamese women. Not only is October 20th is made Vietnam’s Women day but there also exists a museum dedicated to women. The museum displays rather recent history of women, such as women and ethnicity; women and the national struggle; Vietnam women association and the feminism; women and traditional costumes; and women’s cultural traits expressed through handicrafts. Inside, over 25,000 objects spread across 1500 square meters and five stories, shedding more light on the history and culture of Vietnam. Unlike most museums that I had visited before, this one was more about presentation than actual artifacts. Larger than life photos dominated most of the rooms, complete with English captions for foreign visitors.  There are three permanent exhibits:  Women and Family,  Women and Society,  and Women’s Fashion.  Each exhibit uses a different colour and theme. THE SURREAL SAND DUNES OF MUI NE (South Vietnam): It's the outstanding place to go for a taste of desert and wonderful landscape photography!

Mui Ne is a resort town that spans 15 kilometres along Vietnam’s southern coast. There are two sand dunes you can easily access from Mui Ne, namely the Red Sand Dunes and the White Sand Dunes.  The White Sand Dunes is exactly how I have always imagined a desert to be – a vast expanse of barren land. Undoubtedly more pristine and breathtaking than the Red Sand Dunes, the White Sand Dunes is also less accessible. It is an hour drive from the centre of Mui Ne, and I must say that it is most definitely worth the commute.   The Red Sand Dunes is just 20 minutes from the town centre, and the sand is really more orangey-brown than red. The gentle slopes make it easy to walk on foot (at least in comparison to the White Sand Dunes), and it is a spectacular place to be during sunset. The Fairy Stream is one of Mui Ne’s main attractions, alongside the Red and White Sand Dunes. I didn’t expect to see hills of sand along the Fairy Stream at all.  The landscape is absolutely surre

It is bound to change as Vietnam beach holidays become more popular. Ha My is between Vietnam’s third city, Danang, and Hoi An, the ancient port that was so important to the Champa Kingdom many centuries ago.  Ha My is attractive with its own pristine, white sandy scenery, gentle waves and clear blue water ... Thanks to its immaculate appearance like "A Sleeping Fairy", not lively as elsewhere, with 60 luxury villas, 40 villas with pool and sea views ... many visitors come to   Ha My Beach   to look for peace… The main people that find Ha My currently as those who decide to explore; perhaps hire a motor bike in Danang or Hoi An and decide to travel down the road. The Beach is just outside at 7km of Hoi An in Dien Ban. It is not the closest beach to Hoi An either heading north or south. The closest beaches to Hoi An can be crowded so it is worth going a little further out of this popular tourist destination. Also the Ha My Beach, Long Beach in Phu Quoc Island is
